Dr. Mahdieh Beheshti AKA Dr. B
Dr. B. is a board-certified pediatric dentist with a distinguished international background and a commitment to meticulous, detail-oriented dental work. Inspired by her older siblings in the medical field, she graduated with highest honors from Boston University’s Henry Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where she was inducted into the prestigious OKU honor society. Dr. B. completed her pediatric dentistry residency at NYC Health + Hospital-Jacobi Medical Center, a renowned Level 1 trauma center, where she gained advanced training in providing specialized care for children, graduating in 2020.
Dr. B. is dedicated to delivering the highest quality dental care, utilizing a precise and tailored approach to meet each patient’s unique needs. Her expertise allows her to create a comfortable environment, helping patients and their families feel at ease during their dental visits. She actively seeks opportunities to expand her knowledge and skills to enhance the dental experience for children.
Outside of her dental practice, Dr. B. enjoys cooking and baking, and cherishes moments with her mischievous green-cheek conure, Goli, who speaks Farsi. She also loves reading, traveling, practicing yoga, and spending quality time with her loved ones.
What to Expect
The Experience
When you and your child arrive at our office, you'll be greeted by our friendly staff and a fun environment. We encourage you to fill out the new patient forms at home for convenience; however, if that's not possible, you can complete them upon arrival. While you do this, your child can enjoy our kid’s play area and amenities. Once everything is ready, we’ll invite you back to one of our operatories.
During the first visit, your child will meet our dental team and be introduced to the instruments the doctor will use, like the tiny mouth mirror and tooth counter. You’ll also learn about the importance of preventive home care to maintain your child's dental health. The doctor will gently examine your child’s teeth, gums, and mouth. After the examination, your child will receive a cleaning and x-rays. The doctor will discuss the results with you.
If everything looks good, you can schedule the next appointment at the front desk. If any issues need attention, the doctor will explain the findings and address any questions or concerns, along with outlining further treatment recommendations.
